Thought Essentials (cont.) |
|

| The Key Points |
| As mentioned earlier, Thought Essentials are a few basic ideals - key points per say - that make up a set of guidelines for creative and innovative thinking. In truth, they give less direction of what to do; instead they act like a shield against negativity and stifling habits. Whenever we face a new challenge or revisit an old one, we should keep a few of these ground rules in mind: |
- Do's
DO be open to doing things differently and trying different things.
DO support others' creativity and ideas. Maintain a state of reception at all times.
DO focus on seeing things differently. Take a new perspective in your everyday work.
DO actively seek to create value in new ways. Help others do the same.
- Don'ts
DON'T just do things a certain way, because, "That's how we've always done it."
DON'T shutdown an idea or process because you don't understand it immediately.
DON'T put your own priorities and preferences ahead of others'.
DON'T dismiss anything out-of-hand.
